By using thelondoncommunity.com ("the platform"), you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Who can use the platform

You must be at least 16 years old. You agree to provide accurate information when you sign up or post content.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account secure. Notify us immediately at hello@thelondoncommunity.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

3. Community content rules

When posting questions, answers, comments, or stories, you must not:

  • Post spam, advertising, or self-promotion irrelevant to the topic.
  • Harass, threaten, or insult other users.
  • Share hateful, sexual, or illegal content.
  • Impersonate another person or organisation.
  • Share other people's private information without their consent.
  • Post copyrighted material you don't own or have permission to share.

We use AI moderation and human review. Content that violates these rules may be hidden, edited, or removed without notice. Repeat violators may have their accounts suspended.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of what you post. By posting, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, distribute, and adapt that content on the platform and in marketing materials about the platform.

5. AI features disclaimer

Our AI tools (School Matcher, Level Check, AI answers, content translation, sentiment analysis, etc.) are provided as informational suggestions only. They use third-party language models and may produce inaccurate or out-of-date results. Verify important details (visa rules, school fees, course content) directly with the school or an official source before making decisions.

6. School information

School listings, course details, and prices on the platform are gathered from public sources and may not be current. The London Community is not affiliated with most listed schools unless explicitly stated. Check directly with the school for the latest information.

7. Intellectual property

The platform, branding, design, and original content are the property of The London Community. You may not copy, redistribute, or use them commercially without written permission.

8. Third-party services

Links to third-party sites (schools, partners, social media) are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those sites.

9. Service availability

We aim for high uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We will give reasonable notice when possible.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The London Community is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability shall not exceed GBP 100 or the amount you have paid to use the platform (whichever is greater).

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against any claims arising from your breach of these terms or content you post.

12. Termination

You may delete your account anytime by emailing us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice depending on the severity.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.

14. Changes

We may update these terms when our service or the law changes. Continued use after changes means you accept them. Material changes are highlighted on the homepage.
